Urban Basna o Roosters „kukurikanje“
Jedan od najvažnijih dugo održala urbana basni u postojanju ima veze s prepoznatljivim „kukurikanje“ od ekonomat pijetla. Narodno vjerovanje kaže da je poziv iz pipe samo u svitanje, navodno da se probudite poljoprivrednika i drugih ljudi koji moraju da se do rano ujutro. Broj čitatelja – građana, možda – vjerojatno misle da tu pređu je zapravo istina.
Žao nam se rasprsnuti mjehurići bilo, ali to nije posve točno. Dok seljačko dvorište pijetao crowing obično ne počinju u cik zore, može, i često ne, i dalje tijekom cijelog dana – i da je razlog to nema apsolutno nikakve veze s perjem alarm. Drugi Tales nikli oko vrištati ptice: u stare srednjoevropske narodnih priča Sotona je vjerovao da bježi na prvi crowing od pijetla. Srednjovjekovni mit kaže da Bazilisk, zmija div koji ubija sa samo jednim pogledom i izlegli kod žaba iz kokoš je jaje, odmah će propasti ako se čuje pijetao crowing.
U suvremeno doba, čak i poslovne alate kao i online Yellow Pages lik ime pijetla kao ona ostaje popularan komercijalni naziv, za poduzeća od peradi Tvornice za preradu na maloprodaju piletinu objekata.
